Abstract: The effectiveness of vocational education in promoting sustainable development goals (SDGs) is pivotal in fostering a skilled workforce that contributes to environmental, social, and economic sustainability. This study examines how vocational education programs align with and contribute to achieving SDGs, focusing on their impact on environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic prosperity. Objectives include assessing the integration of SDGs into vocational curricula, evaluating students' awareness and engagement with sustainable practices, and identifying barriers to SDG implementation in vocational schools. A survey research design is justified for its ability to gather data from 250 participants, including vocational educators, students, and industry stakeholders, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across different vocational sectors and geographical locations. Case studies will highlight exemplary vocational institutions in Ogun State, chosen for their innovative approaches to sustainable education and community engagement. Findings reveal that vocational education significantly contributes to SDGs through practical training in sustainable practices and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among students. Recommendations emphasize curriculum reforms to embed SDGs, promoting industry partnerships for sustainable skill development, and advocating for policy frameworks that prioritize sustainable vocational education.
